Personal Lines Account Executive

As a Personal Lines Account Executive you will service and manage the insurance needs of assigned accounts, maintain all client related information, process all insurance transactions and communicate with clients and insurance companies relating to clients’ insurance programs. This will be accomplished by assuring that coverage is maintained at all times, and/or management is notified if there are any potential problems. Communicate with client, as well as producers to avoid late payments and possible cancellations. Identify new coverage opportunities, develop and enhance client development by indentifying new coverage opportunities and developing ways to best service each account. Bind coverage changes within binding authority. Work with other members of the department as well as other departments in maintaining company communications and relations. Use courteous, professional phone techniques and service clients, carriers and office staff. As well as any special projects and other job related duties as assigned.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in personal lines servicing accounts in a busy, fast-paced environment; a working knowledge of MS Word and Sagitta preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills, detailed oriented. New York State P&C broker’s license. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Commercial Large Lines Account Executive

As a Commercial Large Lines Account Executive you will manage, underwrite, market and service assigned accounts and assist other Account Executives as needed. Responsible for maintaining and/or offering the most comprehensive insurance offerings available. Compile and maintain all client related information, process all insurance transactions and communicate with clients and insurance companies in compliance with company guidelines. Enter and maintain client data in our agency management system, Sagitta. Handle all customer relations and client support services. Work with producers to enhance client development and services. Accept, price and bind insurance within underwriting authority. Examine documents to determine risk, underwriting and market selection. Handle new business submissions. Provide guidance to Account Executive Assistant. Manage workflow of assigned accounts. Assure all responsibilities are in compliance with company guidelines and procedures. Utilize courteous, professional phone techniques and service to clients, carriers and office staff. Special projects and other job related duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have 10 years experience in commercial lines in underwriting or account executive capacity. A working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Excel and AMS Sagitta, preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills, detailed oriented. NY State Broker’s License; CPCU/CIC and Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
